SGE#4 The Death Machine

Bikes, motorcycles, crotch rockets whatever name you use for them Ive caught the bug. In riding them for roughly a week now I can confidently say that the bike is not the dangerous one. The person riding it is. Now granted bikes bring about a mysteriousness and an eagerness to go it is the person who inevitably has the choice. A bike in the right hands and be just as safe as any car. It all depends on how much risk you want to accept. If you're following the rules of the road a bike is a perfect machine to get from point A to point B. If you doing something that isn't recommended or isn't safe it can be a death machine. I guess it comes down to who you want to be or in my case how long I want to live. Time will tell who knows this could be my last post. Here are some pictures of my new death machine. :)

  1. Crotch rockets are an absolute blast, I rode for 13 years here in the valley. Car drivers are becoming more distracted so I think motorcyclists need to be even more aware nowadays.

  2. I completely agree, its the person riding it that has the responsibility and not the bike itself. The people who don't follow the rules give a bad example and give a reason to stereotype the bike and not the rider. People say its dangerous but not say the rider is dangerous. Id rather ride a bike any day then drive a car because of the feeling. Great post.

  3. In my opinion it is not the person or people riding motorcycles that put themselves in dangerous situations, I believe it is the motorist on the road that can make the situations dangerous. It is so important while driving down the road to beware of any motorcyclist around, because they can easily not be seen in the blind spot of vehicles. When the weather gets warm, you tend to see more motorcyclist on the road, so it is important to give your undivided attention to driving carefully. Nice topic, RIDE SAFE MY FRIEND!

  4. Here in Arizona car drivers are very distracted, and I noticed they don`t have any regard for pedestrians. I admire you to be so brave. I liked your post.
